Abstract: |
|
Fluorinated polyimide films are of great significance for high-efficiency and low-energy carbon dioxide capture. In this work, an “experimental + simulation” approach was adopted to investigate the effect of the copolymerization ratio of hexafluorodianhydride (6FDA) and hexafluorodiamine (HFBAPP) on the properties of the membrane material, and its characterization and related performance were studied. The results showed that the di-anhydride-excess FPI-3 exhibited good thermal stability (glass transition temperature up to 262 ℃), tensile properties, and gas permeability, with a CO2 permeation rate of 2.963 0 Barrer, but showed poor separation performance for the CO2/N2 system. The ideally proportioned FPI-1 demonstrated performance lower than that of FPI-3 but better separation performance for the CO2/N2 system, with a selectivity of 16.54. The diamine-excess FPI-2 performed lower than FPI-1 in all aspects. The gas permeation process in the membrane was simulated using MATLAB code, which further validated the excellent gas permeation performance of FPI-3. |
