This paper introduced production and application of domestic bipolar membrane made in China . Our bipolar membrane has an excellent electro-chemical properties . In range of current density , 10—100 mA∕cm2,the membrane has a potential drop of 0.9—1.8 in a 0.5 M Na2SO4 solution at 25°C . And our bipolar membrane cost is also far cheaper than type BP—1 bipolar membrane imported from abroad . At the same timeAnd morover , This paper introduced our bipolar membrane eletrodialysis installationplant . It can directly separate acids and basesfrom their different salts . For separating per ton acid , its electric energy consumption is in the range of 1500—2500kwh .So , our bipolar membrane can completely meet our market needs .
