Abstract: |
|
Bromine is one of an important chemical raw material. The effects of absorption time, aqueous bromine solution temperature, stripping solution concentration and flow and the other operating conditions on membrane absorption performances of aqueous bromine solution were studied, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) hollow fiber membranes were used, and NaOH was a stripping solution. The results showed that absorption rate of bromine increased with increasing of absorption time, feed temperature and mass transfer coefficient was consistent with Arrhenius relationship for membrane absorption process. The concentration of stripping solution was increased from 0.003mol/L to 0.01mol/L, mass transfer coefficient increasing from 4.75×10-4cm/s to 6.02×10-4cm/s, and membrane flux increasing from 2.4×10-3kg/(m2.h) to 3×10-3kg/(m2.h) accordingly. The effect of fluid dynamic conditions of stripping side on membrane flux for membrane absorption was not obvious. |
