Abstract: |
|
This paper discusses the cross-flow diatomaceous earth pre-coated dynamic membrane process in treating the Huaihe raw water directly. It attempts to evaluate the quality of dynamic membrane formation by testing the turbidity of the filtrate and the variation of flux under the condition of different dosing quantities of diatomite and different kinds of additive. The results show that the use of diatomite, combined with PAC as additive to the pre-coat, produces a high-quality of dynamic membrane. Continued addition of 0.25mg/L PAC during the whole process can reduce the filtrate turbidity to 0.25NTU; additionally, a low membrane flux drop is maintained. |
