Abstract：

Alkaline batteries separator paper was prepared with polypropylene fiber and the 70°SR cotton fiber by wet papermaking. The influence of beating degree on the performance of the batteries separator paper was studied in this paper. And the influence of the quality ratio of polypropylene fiber and cotton fiber, the additives and hot-press temperature were also investigated in this paper. The results showed that, in the condition of 135℃ of hot pressing, adding PEO 1.0% and PVA 6.0% the performance of battery separator was best when the fiber ratio was 1:2. In electrolyte solution, the conductivity of separator was 3.38×10-2 S•cm-
