Abstract：

The composite film was prepared by alginate and gelatin which were both dissolved in distilled water. The characteristics of the composite film, such as, the compatibility, the mechanical property, the moisture absorption, the moisture retention and the moisture permeable property were analyzed in the study. The results showed that low content of gelatin lead to good compatibility, breaking strength and extension. And when the mass ratio was 1:0.6, the composite film had better moisture absorption, moisture retention and moisture permeable property.
