Experiments study was carried out using the membrane degassing technology for HCl separation from hydrochloric acid solution. The effects of membrane area, the velocity of feed flow through the fiber lumen, and hydrochloric acid concentration on HCl removal efficiency were investigated, respectively. The results showed that HCl separation efficiency can be enhanced by increasing the membrane area and the feed velocity. Furthermore, lower hydrochloric acid concentration led to declined separation efficiency. Using the module with membrane area of ??1.0m2, the separation efficiency of HCl from 6mol/L hydrochloric acid solution achieved 85%, at a feed velocity of 0.12m/min and a vacuum pressure of 0.090MPa. |
