The polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membranes have been prepared by phase inversion method with dimethylacetamide (DMAc) as solvent. The effects of hydrophilic/hydrophobic additives on the membrane structure, contact angle and gas permeability were investigated. By coating fluorine-containing surfactant Zonyl 8740, the PVDF membranes were modified to obtain hydrophobic surface. ATR-FTIR, FE-SEM and contact angle on membranes were characterized, and the corresponding desulfurization performance was evaluated. The results showed that the additive improved the water contact angle and hydrophobic performance of the membrane. The additive type had obvious influence on the gas permeability of membranes, and the max ventilation property of PVDF membrane come to 85.6 m3/m2·h under 20℃ and 0.01 MPa conditions. Through Zonyl 8740 modification, the PVDF membranes showed excellent hydrophobicity, and the water contact angle was 133.5 ° with 81.3% of sulfur dioxide removal efficiency. |
