Abstract: |
|
Poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS)/poly(vinylidenefluoride) (PVDF) composite membrane was prepared for the separation of n-hexane/nitrogen, cyclohexane/nitrogen and n-heptane/nitrogen mixtures. The effects of feed concentration, flow rate and operating temperature on the performance of the PDMS composite membrane were systematically studied. It was found that VOC permeance and separation factor increased with increasing feed VOC concentration and feed flow rate, while decreased with the increase of operating temperature. The PDMS/PVDF composite membranes exhibited good and stable performance during three months continuous operation, with n-heptane permeance and separation factor of 1.2*10-6mol/(s?m2?Pa) and 145, respectively. |
