Abstract: |
|
Organic-inorganic composite microporous membrane was fabricated by phase inversion after PVDF mixed with modified SiO2 according to a weight ratio, in which SiO2 prepared by sol-gel method was modified by low-surface-energy silane coupling agent. The impact of coupling agent types and SiO2 particles size on the hydrophobicity of the microporous film and the microtopography of the film were investigated. Results indicated that the gelation of SiO2 particles were effectively prevented by silane coupling agent with surface energy of SiO2 particles reduced, which had a significant impact on hydrophobicity of membrane; the water contact angle of the composite microporous membrane surfaces with a nicer micro-nano hierarchical structure was up to 151°. |
