Effects of molding technology on the performances of coal-based flat microfiltration carbon membrane |

The coal-based flat microfiltration carbon membrane used for electrocatalytic membrane was prepared by the procedure of semi-dry pressing, drying and carbonization of carbonaceous precursor. Effects of the ratio of coking coal and lean coal, binder, pore-forming agents and briquetting pressure on the pore structure performance of the coal-based carbon membrane were investigated. Morphology and pore structure characteristics of carbon membrane were characterized by FT-IR, SEM and bubble-pressure method. The result shows that the pore structure of carbon membrane can be adjusted by controlling the ratio of coking coal and lean coal. Additive benefits the improvement of the pore structure performance of carbon membrane, but decreases the mechanical strength and electrical conductivity of carbon membrane. It is favorable to improve the mechanical strength and electrical conductivity of carbon membrane by increasing briquetting pressure, which has less influence on the pore structure properties of carbon membrane. |
