Abstract: |
|
In this paper, after blending Polyvinyl chloride(PVC) and sulfonated polyethersulfone (SPES) together, PVC/SPES bland membranes were prepared using phase inversion method under different membrane processing conditions (polymer content of the casting solution, the temperature of the casting solution, the temperature of the gel bath and the gel bath composition), and then the pure water flux, rejection rate, tensile strength, fouling resistance and scanning electron microscope(SEM) of blend membranes were tested that in order to investigate the influence of bland membranes processing conditions on PVC / SPES blend membranes microstructure and performance. By composing the pure water flux, rejection rate, tensile strength and fouling resistance of different blend membranes, then obtained PVC / SPES blend membranes optimum conditions: the optimum polymer content of the casting solution is 16%, the temperature of the casting solution is 70 ℃, the temperature of the bath gel is 20℃, the gel bath is pour water. |
