A series of PES/Sepiolite hybrid membranes were obtained by changing the amount of sepiolite, using polyethersulfone (PES) as the membrane material, and N-N dimethylacetamide as the solvent. In the experiment, the hydrophilicity, chemical composition and tensile properties of the membrane were tested and characterized by water contact angle measuring instrument, Fourier infrared spectrometer and electronic fabric strength machine. Subsequently, water permeability, retention rate and antifouling performance of the membrane were tested and characterized by cross-flow penetration using bovine serum albumin as a simulated contaminant. The results show that breaking strength of the hybrid membrane is reduced, and the change of breaking elongation is not obvious with the increase of the amount of modified sepiolite. When the amount of modified sepiolite was 1%, contact angle decreased to a minimum of 61.74 °, while the porosity and pure water flux reached maximum values of 88.64 % and 221.3 L/(m2 h), respectively. In addition, average pollution degree and attenuation coefficient of the hybrid membrane were reduced from 50 % and 40 % to 24.11 % and 15.68 % compared with the blank membrane, indicating that the PES membrane after adding modified sepiolite has better antifouling performance. |
