Abstract: |
|
The nanofiltration membrane technology is an effective method for water purification due to its superiority characteristics. The emerging pollutants in water have been detected continuously, receiving widespread attention increasingly. This paper summarizes the relevant research progress of nanofiltration membrane technology in the removal of emerging pollutants in the water. The research shows that nanofiltration membranes can effectively remove typical emerging pollutants in the water such as pharmaceutical and personal care products (PPCPs), perfluorinated compounds, endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs), microcystin (MCYST) with all removal rate generally above 90% which has gotten good effects in the removal rate of emerging pollutants in the water. Meanwhile, the crucial research works and application prospects emphasis in the nanofiltration membrane technology has been discussed as well. |
