Inorganic-organic hybrid composite reverse osmosis (RO) membranes have become a hot topic in the field of RO membranes, since they show good properties of both organic RO membranes and inorganic materials. The preparation, classification, structure and performance of inorganic-organic hybrid composite RO membranes are reviewed. Some general advice is presented for the existing shortcomings and the future research development of inorganic-organic hybrid composite RO membranes. |
